Not surprisingly, we have learned that each donor and each property is unique. There is no “standard” solution. We have accepted raw land, restaurants, shopping centers, single family homes and townhomes, office buildings and resort properties. Some are outright gifts, some need cash to pay off debt, to make repairs, or to provide the owner with discretionary cash.
However, all have the same goal… educating donors, their advisors and the nonprofit world on the benefits of real estate giving. All have the same satisfaction, making grants to other nonprofits whose social missions are lifted by unexpected funding derived from real estate gifts.
